The Cookie Jar Foundation was set up by the family of Christopher Coutts who lost his two year fight against cancer at the age of 19. Our main aim is to provide support to both children and young adults in need of help, whether it be in hospital, educational or community based environment..

Story

I am taking part in a cycle organised by the Cookie Jar Foundation, set up in memory of Christoper Coutts.  This year we are cycling 52 miles, starting in Ardrossan before island hopping back to Wemyss Bay, in 1 day.

Chris was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 17 and would spend the next 2 years bravely fighting his condition through rounds of medication, chemotherapy and new treatments.  He remained optimistic and determined throughout each round of treatment.Sadly, on the 3rd June 2013, Christopher lost his fight.

It was at this time, Christopher's family set up The Cookie Jar Foundation.  The foundation was set up to raise funds for a wide range of worthy beneficiaries, from local charities to financing vein finders in hospitals.  The foundation aims to improve the experience people receive in hospital based upon Christopher's own experiences.

Christopher inspired his friends and family to take up this fight and it is for this reason that I am happy to support the Foundation any way I can.

Please donate any amount you can spare as the money raised will go towards helping those that need it most, in our area.

Thanks for your time.
