This is the first time I've ever done the Great North Run and would love nothing more than to help give back to a great organisation who've gave me so much since I joined the senior team.

Gateshead Redheugh 1957 has 20 teams, serving around 300 children and young people on a weekly basis. The club is affiliated through Durham FA, but are a charity run organisation who relies heavily on the volunteer workforce to keep the club alive.

This club is dedicated to helping children and young people in their community by providing a safe space for structured physical activities.
