Last year I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, thankfully through early diagnosis and prompt treatment and wonderful care at Velindre Hospital my PSA levels have dropped dramatically and am well on the way to be cured. I have participated in several fundraising events for Velindre over the last ten years including Jonathan Davies Captain’s California bike ride in 2012, which was a great experience. I am really looking forward to this challenge and confident that as a result of my recent cancer treatment I will be able to complete the ride of over 300 miles in five days as I join Jonathan Davies and over fifty other cyclists on The 3 Canyons challenge in America’s Zion National Park and Grand Canyon, our journey will end in Las Vegas as we help Jonathan to celebrate his 60th birthday. Cycling has always given me a focus and was instrumental in my  recovery after treatment  I will be contributing 3k myself which will cover more than the cost of my trip, so every penny you give will go to this fantastic cause that is close to my heart, you never know when you or one of your dear ones will need their expertise
