I am very fortunate to have been given an opportunity to fund raise for the British Dyslexia Association by undertaking the challenge of running the London Marathon 2023. The estimated number of people with dyslexia in the UK is 6.3 million (around 10% of the total population) & one of the challenges in education is the early identification of young people so that they have the right specialist care and support to keep up with their peers & increase their life chances. The British Dyslexia Association provides training for people to help make changes in education & the workplace as well as influencing government &other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.
