Story

On Sunday 16th September I am attempting to complete the Ironman Wales Triathlon in memory of my friend and colleague, Richard ''Bumpy'' Porter and to raise money for www.sane.org.uk

The event is based in Tenby, Pembrokeshire and involves a short dip in the sea of 2.2 miles, a quick spin on the bike of 112 miles followed by a gentle 26 mile jog.

It would be fanastic if you could sponsor my attempt to raise money for SANE in Richard's memory. SANE do fantastic work is raising awareness of mental illness and initiating research. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to the Black Dog Campaign which is making great progress is reducing stigma surrounding the illness.

Thanks for your support.

David
