The Brathay 262 is an ultra distance cycling event that involves 10 laps of Windermere, England's largest lake, in 24 hours.

Story

Having successfully completed the 2018 edition of the 10
marathons in 10 days challenge and then having had my own health issues to deal with I have been looking to have a go at another ultra - fitness challenge and again with assisting the Brathay trust with all the great work they do for vulnerable children throughout the UK in mind, I opted to give my cycling skills a bit of a test hence my involvement in this year’s 262 cycle challenge
for Brathay.

So, all I need to do is get on my bike (along with six other
cycling nutters ), ride round a big lake 10 times in 24 hours and then high five each other when we finish – sounds easy right, well I’ve been told it’s not but then again if it was easy they wouldn’t call it a challenge.

Please feel free to donate to my page and help me help Brathay continue with their relentless efforts in helping young and vulnerable children throughout the UK.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
