As everyone will know, me & Alix have two Border Collies, Luna & Ginny, and I couldn't imagine life without them. So I am running the Great North Run for Wag & Company so that they can continue to provide Friendship Dogs for elderly dog lovers across the North East who miss the company and friendship of a dog. 

Every penny I raise goes towards funding more Visiting Wag Teams for the elderly in our region - so both myself and Wag would be very grateful for anything you can spare! 

A little bit about Wag & Company:

Wag & Company North East Friendship Dogs is the only visiting dog charity to visit the elderly in their own homes as well as in care or medical establishments. Our aim is to reduce loneliness in older dog lovers right across the North East of England and to ensure that no older person misses friendship and the company of a dog. Since we started in 2016, Visiting Wag Teams have made more than 51,000 friend visits benefitting over 2,100 people and making a world of difference with each visit.
