I am running the Yorkshire marathon for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity because they support bereaved families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am running the Yorkshire marathon in memory of our son Edward. Edward was born sleeping in February of last year. This was the hardest and most painful thing we have been through. SANDS offered support by providing us with a memory box. They also provided us with a petal with Edward's name on which is hanging at the SANDS memorial garden in Derby.

SANDS also offer support and counselling to families who have suffered baby loss. In addition to this they fund research into why babies are born early.

All of this work is done without government funding and SANDS rely solely on donations. I would love it if you could make a donation to this wonderful charity. Thank you.
