45 years ago a good friend of mine cycled from London to Wales and to mark his 60th birthday this year he asked me to join him in repeating the trip. We are now 4 times as old as he was then so will be taking 4 times as long!!

We plan to leave Waterloo, London on Saturday, 2nd June and arrive in Brecon, Wales four days later. I am hoping to use this challenge to raise funds for the Stroke Association in memory of our friend Pauline Franklin who, a year ago, suffered a stroke and sadly died 3 days later. She was fit, in good health and was just 53 years old!

The Stroke Association does great work supporting families affected by strokes, so please dig deep and donate now.
