On the 6th March MPCT Bishop Auckland learners aged 16-23 will be taking part in a triathlon event using treadmills, rowers and bikes to cover the mammoth distance of 260 miles, the distance from our centre in Bishop Auckland to our Head office in Cardiff. The learners are doing this to raise money for the motivational learning trust who support, develop and enhance life opportunities for MPCT learners past present and future.  They raise and administer funding in order to offer young people support in crisis and facilitate bespoke, inspirational educational opportunities that will ensure they become meaningful and contributing members of society who are confident, competent and fully aware of their role in being the best they can be. Many of our learners have already received support  by being bought smart attire to use during our launch events and future interviews. They will also support a number of North East learners later this year on a battlefield tour overseas.
