Southend in Sight is a local sight loss charity offering friendly support, practical advice and fun social events to ensure that blind and partially sighted people continue to lead independent, fulfilling and active lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have just taken over as Chairman of Trustees for Southend Blind Welfare Organisation.

To raise awareness of the charity and raise funds I aim to participate in the Colourthon, a half marathon walk set against the backdrop of Southend by night!  Its an excellent event organised by Southend Round Table.

All being well I will be walking with a number of people supporting SBW.
