Abseilling Croke Park Event · 27 May 2022

Plan International Ireland is a development organisation that advances children's rights and equality for girls. Everyday, we ensure that the children who are most marginalised receive the education and essential services they deserve and the protection and care they are too often denied. Your generous donations go to life-saving projects, such as providing clean water supplies and child immunisation, which make an immediate and lasting impact to the world's poorest children. We know that it is impossible for a child to reach their potential unless their community is developing alongside them. Plan International's commitment to each community means that the health, sanitation and education programmes we establish are long-term and sustainable.

By way update, I have succumbed to the barrage of abuse for not taking part and enough is enough.....

I AM DOING IT!!!! 6 becomes 7. So we need even more help pretty please

On 27th May our 6 volunteer dare devils will abseil 150 feet from the roof of Croke Park Stadium, to raise much needed funds for Plan International.

Plan International is one of the largest international child-centred development organisations in the world, operating in more than 75 countries. Their mission is a just world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. They are currently on the ground in war torn Ukraine and assisting as they do in this horrifying crisis.

An added note of poignancy is that our loved friend and colleague Eileen Carron lost her battle to cancer in October 2020 and is so sorely missed. Eileen was a true fighter and fearless. Abseiling from the roof of Croker was on her bucket list so on the 27th she will be very much in our hearts and minds, as she is always.

We are so happy to support this great cause and hope you feel  compelled to contribute with a donation.

Thank you guys and girls for embracing the challenge and enjoy the day and get down safe and sound!!!!
