PARAS'10 CATTERICK · 9 September 2012 ·

The aim of Liverpool Women's Charity is to raise funds to improve the care and support given to the patients and their families. Money raised helps to provide services and facilities above what is normally provided through NHS funding.

Story

I will be running in the Para's 10 on the 9th of September 2012 to raise money for Liverpool premature babies ward.

The good work this charity does was hightlighted when a work colleague gave birth to premature twins. Thanks to the expertise and support of the ward they are all now back at home.

The Paras 10 run consists of running the Para trooper training stage in Catterick,Yorkshire. It is 10 miles and in order to pass the Para trooper entry requirements I am required to do this in less than 1hour and 50 minutes, Wearing military style boots, A backback weighing 35lbs and military trousers.
