Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London marathon this April to try and raise as much money as I can for a small charity called 'Action on pre-eclampsia'. The reason I am running for this charity is because in March last year my wife was 4 months pregnant when she was told she had HELLP syndrome, a variant of pre-eclampsia. She was taken into hospital and told that her kidneys and liver were shutting down and the only way to stop this and save her life was to give birth and to lose our baby. My wife was so brave and I am so proud of the way she has tried to raise awareness of HELLP syndrome, a condition in which people seem to know very little about. This is my part to help her raise awareness and money for a great charity. so please give as much or as little as you like, it all helps,  or even just visit the action on pre-eclampsia website and at least one more person will be aware of this awful disease.  Thankyou!
