I was lucky enough to be introduced to Teens Unite many years ago through my good friend and co-founder of the charity, Karen Millen. With the help of Debbie Pezzani, they were able to realise their dream of supporting young people through cancer treatment. 

Back in 2016 I was honoured to be asked to become a Trustee of the charity having provided support through the Sunseeker London Group for many years. In my new capacity as Trustee, I have the privalege of working closely with some amazing people to really benefit these kids. 

TeensUnite is the only charity in the UK to provide on-going support to 13-24 year olds fighting cancer from diagnosis through to post-remission. Seven young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and Teens Unite brings them together through workshops and activities so they can spend valuable time with others their age in a similar situation to themselves. The charity helps to rebuild the confidence and self-esteem of those it supports and prevents feelings of isolation during what can be a long and lonely battle.
