There are 8,500 children living in relative poverty in the borough of Merton, a fact which is not obvious walking in the Village or on the Common, and austerity is due to make things worse for the worst off

Anything we can give to help enhance the life experience of these unfortunate children who are disadvantaged through no fault of their own will be a great blessing to us and especially  to them.
