I'm running the London Marathon 2013 for MacMillan Cancer Support showing my support for the fantastic job they do under always testing circumstances.

As many of you know my mother lost her battle just over two years ago and with my wife now facing her own personal fight it would seem appropriate to do my bit in recognition for the work they do.

1 in 3 of us that will have the misfortune to sit in front of a doctor and get told you've got cancer and unfortunately will affect most of us in one way of another throughout our lives, and now's the time to dig deep and give what you can.  

Don't give just for me, nor my mum or even for Fiona, give for everyone who has to deal with cancer in one way or another on a daily basis and help the team at MacMillan make a difference.
