We lost Dad to this pig awful disease the Xmas before last. It was a pretty horrific 3 years from when he was diagnosed to his passing. These guys helped give my Dad an extra year with his family with one of the most invasive of all surgeries. They basically removed Dads oesophagus and stretched his stomach to act as his missing food pipe. We wished that this would have keeped the dreaded C at bay. It was not to be. But it gave Dad hope.

The staff were incredible!!

My running days are over, but I still have the ability to take the mickey out of myself.

I am 52 and have donned a tomahawk hairstyle.

Dad would have gone nuts 🥜...

But that's the irony of life 😉
