I am running the great north run, the UK's biggest half marathon. I was lucky enough to secure a ballot place so I thought I would use this opportunity to ask all family and friends for money :)

The money raised will go towards the amazing neurosurgery team at Sheffield Children's Hospital.  This is a specialised centre for children who need the expert knowledge and skills at a time when the need it the most. 

The team work around the clock supporting the families and children during the most difficult time of their lives.  Every pound you donate will help make their stay as comfortable as possible.  The ward is to undergo a refurbishment and my aim is to support to buy additional items the hospital might not ordinarily be able to afford.
