My inspiration for this challenge and fundraising comes from my wife Jackie. 

The idea for taking on Land's End - John O'Groats (LEJOG) came from Peter Langford, an octogenarian retired vicar who I met whilst cycle touring in 2021. Peter cycled LEJOG for charity at aged 85! 

This Summer I am attempting to solo ride the 1000 miles with 40,000+ feet of ascent (this sounds a lot.....) in 14 days - my route can be seen via the "Gallery" button above.
