My Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 15yrs ago which was a shock for our whole family.  However she discovered Crawley Cancer Contact (as The Olive Tree was then known) and found  that, in meeting others with similar cancers, she was not alone and that she could talk freely in a really caring atmosphere. When she was diagnosed with a tumour in her lung - a secondary - five years ago the family was really worried.  By this time Mum was a volunteer at The Olive Tree and was so grateful to have Marilyn and her team to comfort and sustain her.  I'm so glad to report that Mum is a survivor, and I want to show my thanks by climbing Mt.
