I am running to raise money for Andover Cricket Club. With over 100 mmbers in the adult section and a similar number in the Colts you might think we would be flush with cash. Sadly the costs of keeping the grounds, the pavilion, booking pitches, transport (I could go on much further) are very susbstantial - over £18000 a year in fixed outgoings alone.

The cricket club brings enjoyment to many across our community and could do even more with extra financial help. That is why I am going to put myself through what can only be described as a thoroughly unpleasant experience - I did it 4 years ago and have never felt so wretched as I did at the end.

Your part is simply to be as generous as you can - any sums large or small (though the larger the better obviously) are welcome.
