I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Bowel Research UK on 1 August 2021. My family have been affected first hand by health issues the charity researches and plans to tackle. The sector is extremely underfunded so it’s important that we raise money for them.

Bowel Research UK funds vital, life-changing research into bowel cancer and other bowel diseases. Every year over 16,000 people die from bowel cancer in the UK and over a million suffer from bowel disease. My mum and I both suffer, but thanks to the incredible research of treatments, I’m back to having a much better quality of life. 

In fact, it was only two or so years ago that I was on a liquid diet and wasn’t able to run 3K, let alone a half marathon. That’s the difference this research can make.

The target for this fundraiser is £300.00 and anything you can donate is greatly appreciated.
