AoH UK CIO raises money to provide a free education for impoverished children. We raise money to support more than 400 places at the AoH charity school in Bengaluru. With your donations we make a difference for some of the 7 million children in India living in slum conditions.

Story

Acts of Hope is a fantastic charity which gives an education to the poorest and most vulnerable children in the slums of Bangalore.

The charity runs a school in the city giving over 400 of the poorest children in the city a high quality education. Some of the first children to join the school have now graduated from university. The opportunity Acts of Hope gives them can be truly life-changing. I've done two stints teaching at the school, so have seen first hand the impact of the charity's good work. The good news is that a little goes a long way - for example just £250 will buy uniforms for a whole year group.

Acts of Hope has a team of 10 runners doing this year's Royal Parks Half, so if we can each hit our target together we can raise enough to make a real difference for the children at the school.

I would be very grateful for any donation you are able to make.

Thanks,

David
