Hedleys Northern Counties School caters for pupils with significant hearing loss, associated language delay and other complex needs. The school is located within a Victorian building in Newcastle (that was previously a school for the deaf).  An appropriate listening environment is crucial for their pupils to gain maximum impact from their learning.

They would like to create classrooms with acoustically absorbent wall panels, vinyl flooring, non-reflective interactive whiteboards which will provide visual support for sign language. These adaptions will support the children to be fully included in their lessons and to access the best education they are entitled too.
