I’ve secured a place in the RideLondon Essex 100 Mile Cycling Sportive which takes place on Sunday, May, 29th. As many of you know, I volunteer at Wyfold Riding for the Disabled each week where we help children and adults, with a variety of disabilities, ride/drive ponies. In August 2020 many of you kindly sponsored me as I completed a “virtual” RideLondon event by cycling 46 miles in the Brecon Beacons. I’m asking for your help once again as we are in urgent need of a replacement driving pony due to the retirement of our existing pony (Lucky). At Wyfold RDA we offer pony riding and driving in order to offer a riding experience to a broad group of disabled people. Anyone unable to ride a pony can experience the enjoyment of driving a carriage which not only improves their confidence but also has tremendous health benefits.
