I'm running 60 miles this August to help families affected by motor neurone disease (MND).

I did not share this widely at the time, but my mum passed away on Boxing Day last year from MND. That is set in stone and I can’t change what has happened, but what I can do is contribute to research into the disease that killed her. The people who knew mum know how amazing she was and I want to acknowledge that in some way.

MND is an underfunded condition and during the month of August, I have the opportunity to raise money in support of the MND Association. 

I am no runner and have leeks for legs, but there is no way that I’m going to miss out on this opportunity. I’m going to keep a log of my progress throughout August and will update this page (and Facebook) accordingly.
