In memory of Rita Wood

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by MSA; a life-limiting neurodegenerative brain disease. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free support services.

Story

I lost my dear wife Rita Wood suddenly on 17 August 2018.  Rita was one of the bravest people I knew, particularly in her last few years as she battled with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) - an illness that sadly has little public awareness.

To honour her memory I will be walking the entire Suffolk Coast (approximately 60 miles) accompanied by Simon Amstutz, Manager of Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB and Nick Collinson, General Manager of The National Trust, Suffolk & Essex Coast.

I hope people will support me to raise funds that will go towards vital research that is so desperately needed for an illness that currently has no cure.
