Story

I have decided to run the Ted Pepper 10k run for St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington. They are a charity based hospice, who care for all people, including families.

The Hospice is an independent charity working across South Durham and North Yorkshire to provide:

  • Hospice at Home
  • Day Therapy
  • In-patient Care
  • Family Support and Bereavement Services

Helping people at the time of their greatest need depends on donations, legacies and fundraising – and volunteers enhance all of our services.

St Teresa's do a wonderful job, helping not just the patient, but the families as well. They did great wonders for our family and this is my way of saying a HUGE thank you!!

My Dad (James Ian Woodcock) was only 53 when he was first diagnosed with alzheimers disease. Unfortuanatly he passed away on 27th December 2011 aged 66. Dad was always a clever, intelligent hardworking proud man who cared a lot for the family.

He loved his fives and threes (a dominos game) and walking in the countryside. He was a huge Sunderland FC fan and loved his gadgets.

But most of all he was a caring loving man who loved his family.

He will always be remembered as the brilliant man he was, His wife Carole Woodcock, myself (David Woodcock) and all of his children and grandchildren and all of the family would like to thank you for supporting this fantastic charity.
