As Master of The Furniture Makers' Company I felt I must lead by example.  

I have pledged to walk 1000 miles over the course of the year in support of the Step2It campaign the Master's challenge. 

I will achieve this by joining as many regional events as possible including 100 miles on a treadmill at The January Furniture Show. 

My finale will be 'The Grand Re-Union Canal Walk' walking from a point just south of Birmingham to The Furniture Makers' Hall in the City of London. Starting on 1st April 2022 (I know April fools day) aiming to arrive at the hall on 8th April 2022. 

I will be inviting as many people as possible to join me along the route for stretches local to them. 

So come on, support me and our wonderful industry charity helping us to help those in need.
