Within the next decade, someone we know will be diagnosed with a life limiting illness that they won't get better from. As in my family it was a parent/grandparent, but it could be a  partner, sibling, son or daughter, a friend colleague or neighbour. At some point in the future, and with increasing regularity we all have to face up to this painful reality. At Kirkwood, they don't think anyone should have to face this alone. They are there to support anyone affected by a life limiting illness, every step of the way.

As a member of a local freemasons lodge their commitment to end of life care is particularly obvious having cared for one of our dear friends making this challenge to help raise funds that much more personal.
