The John Eastwood Hospice has taken very good care of my dad over the last few months and will continue to do so in his last few weeks and months. It feels odd to say I recommend them but if you or your friends or family ever find yourselves in the unfortunate position we have been in, I can vouch for the fantastic care and support provided by the Hospice.

Addressing cancer, I paraphrase Robert Downey Jnr as Tony Stark/Iron Man in The Avengers "There's no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your disease comes and maybe it's too much for my dad but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect my dad, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge him!"
