I am joining hundreds of people challenging themselves to complete 62 Miles in October to help ensure nobody has to face living with epilepsy alone, by raising funds and awareness for Epilepsy Action.

Around 18 months ago, I was diagnosed with epilepsy, which completely turned my life upside down and put me in a very dark place for some time.

With the incredible support of my employer, colleagues, friends and family, I’m now in a much better place and have learned to live with my condition.

I want to do whatever I can to help others understand that epilepsy can be managed and controlled, and that having epilepsy doesn’t mean you can’t live a normal, fulfilling life. If sharing my experience can give even one person hope or reassurance, then it will be worth it.
