We are devastated to announce that following a long period of illness with a brain tumour, David Aarons died peacefully early in the morning on June 3rd.

As a family we are truly grateful for the love and support we have received through difficult times over recent months and years. We are completely overwhelmed by the messages we have already received, and we take great comfort in knowing just how much of an impact David had on so many of your lives. He was an utterly extraordinary man in so many ways, and we can’t even begin to express the extent of the loss we are feeling today.

David worked at Mapledown School for 27 years and he genuinely loved the school, the staff and the students. We feel it fitting and know that he would want donations to go to the school.
