Immunodeficiency UK supports families with primary and secondary immunodeficiency. Immunodeficiency causes partial or full impairment of the immune system, leaving people unable to effectively resolve infections or disease. These disorders can be life-threatening and often need life-long care.

Story

David's recent passing has shown just how much he was appreciated by everyone who knew him. We believe a fitting way of remembering him is through a charity related to his son Richard, who passed away 27 years ago from a rare blood disorder. So the family would very much appreciate donations to PID rather than flowers.

Primary Immunodeficiency UK (PID UK) is an organisation supporting individuals and families affected by a primary immunodeficiency in the UK. It was established in 2013 by a grant from money raised on Jeans for Genes Day. The charity’s day-to-day operations are funded entirely by donations and grants.

Any donations would be gratefully received in memory of David. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
