East Cheshire Hospice is the 2nd lowest funded Hospice in the UK, so fundraising activities like this challenge are essential to keeping the Hospice's services going. The COVID-19 outbreak earlier this year meant that all planned fundraising activities for the Hospice had to stop suddenly with no clear idea when fundraising events will be able to take place again. The Hospice stood to lose approximately £1 million of fundraising income due to this! So this summer the Hospice is asking us to help them go the distance!
