Trek the Inca Trail · 16 March 2009

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Welcome and thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Between 14th and 23rd May 2009, I will be attempting to trek the Inca Trail in aid of the Alzheimers Society. My mother, Lily, was diagnosed with Alzheimers almost five years ago. My family and I have witnessed and felt the heartache of this cruel disease and the effects it produces. Raising funds for this cause will hopefully help find a cure sooner rather than later.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please help me in supporting the Alzheimers Society.
