The Fireflies Bicycle Ride for Leuka will take place from the 10th to the 18th of June. It is a grueling 8 day 1000km ride over the French Alps from Geneva to Cannes to coincide with the International Advertising festival. The route follows many of the epic alpine accents as the Tour de France and is recognised as one of the most arduous cycling journeys in the world, including the famous L'alp D'Huez climb. The motto of the ride is ‘For those who suffer we ride’, and even though I have spent the last 9 months preparing I believe I will definitely be suffering! This is only made worthwhile if I can raise as much money as possible for Leuka, which is where you come in.
