Why do I give to MSSPA's Buy-A-Bale campaign?

I give to the Society in different ways.

 - I hold classes on the care and management of horses for kids who come to the river Road farm for summer programs.
 - I serve on the Society Board of Directors whose sole focus is the
welfare of the horse.
- I donate money.

Why do I give? 

Because in Maine there is no place that comes close to what the
Society does for horses. It takes equines from abusive situations and
rehabilitates them at no expense to the state. After extensive site visits and careful background checks these same horses are introduced to new, caring homes where they will be well cared for the rest of their lives.
