Story
I am taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April along with work colleagues from down south - Andy Fletcher and Sam Howard. My training is going well but the runs are only going to get harder as the big day approaches!!
I will be running in aid of Marie Curie who care for people and their families who have been diagnosed with terminal illness. The charity is a cause close to my heart and I have first-hand experience of the help that they provide families whose loved ones have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
It would be great to get as much support and sponsorship as possible to support the magnificent work that this charity does. For every £1 that Marie Curie raise, 75p goes towards delivering, and improving, the care and support they offer. The other 25p goes towards generating future income. In 2016/17, they spent £149.5million on our crucial caring services, research into terminal illness, and campaigning for better end of life care, as well as spending funds onimproving awareness of our charity and generating future income.
