Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
Following a lengthy and at all times coherrent debate as to the merits of two particular football teams I have somehow ended up pledging to raise money for a charity by participitating in a Skydive. That charity is JDRF.
The little boy on the left is Max . The fools on the right are doing what I will be looking to achieve - and smiling too !
Max was diagnosed with Type 1 (Insulin Dependant) Diabetes before he was 3.
As a result of this condition, Max has a carefully monitored and controlled diet, regular blood sugar tests (at least 10 times a day) and has to be injected with Insulin before each and every meal.
Uncontrolled, Max could go into a coma - thankfully his Mum keeps a very close eye on him and works very hard to make sure he is well controlled (unlike his father).
The JDRF are working hard to find a cure for this condition - which affects more and more children every year.
Any contribution you can make to the cause will be gratefully received
Thanks
