Well, I was listening to Capital FM one morning when they broadcast that they were looking for participants for the Great London Swim, to swim on behalf of Help a London Child.  Wanting to get fit and to do something useful and worthwhile I signed up.

I now have to swim a mile in open water wearing a wetsuit, so I would be very thankful if you could sponsor me just a few £'s for this great charity.

Wow, wow, wow, everyone has been so generous, thank you so much for all of those who have sponsored me so far.  Training has been exhausting and my wetsuit and swim hat make me look ridiculous.  I've not worn them outside the flat yet and only tried it on!  I'll try and get a photo put up after Saturday so you can all properly laugh at me.

David :-)
