This year I will be running the Great Manchester Run (10k) on the 26^th September for the Ronald McDonald House Charities who have been fantastic in supporting my colleague and friend, Amy. 

Amy has been staying with the charity whilst her son, Harrison has been in hospital. Harrison was born prematurely at just 24 weeks and needed intensive around-the-clock care. 

Did you know? It is estimated that around 60,000 babies are born prematurely in the UK every year. This means that 1 in every 13 babies born in the UK will be born before 37 weeks of pregnancy. Unfortunately, the earlier the term, the higher the mortality rate. When Harrison was born he faced a number of challenges but thanks to the care of the doctors, nurses and family he has been able to pull through.

Please donate however much you can as every little helps and it is a great way to give something back and show that you care about an amazing charity that supports parents, children and those in need.
