Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Once again the Davy Seals are embarking on the Tough Mudder Challenge at Dalkeith Country Park on 15th June 2014, and we are trying to raise funds for Redburn School, which is a special needs facility that my son Andrew attends.
Andrew has had extensive and complex special needs since birth. He has never walked, and cannot stand up, or even sit up without help. He has limited communication ability, and also has continence and bowel issues. In addition to this he has limited motor functions.
Getting him up, washed, dressed and fed in the morning is a task in itself, and clearly this has an impact on family life.
This is the same for every parent of a disabled kid, and the school do so much to support the families and the lives of those in the same situation as Andrew.
Redburn are trying to organise a trip to the Calvert Trust centre in the Lake District.

Naturally they are attempting to fundraise to reduce costs, so I appeal to all my friends and family to spare anything they can in the way of a donation to help give some kids a wee change. Personally speaking, I had a huge lump in my throat watching that vid.
The Davy Seals are:
Davy Falconer, Davy Carty, Peter "Ped" Sneddon, Billy Whip and Colin Dick.
