I am taking part in the UWCB event in Northampton on 25th November to raise money for a charity very close to my heart, Northampton Saints Foundation.....Why on earth would you put yourself in that position I hear you ask......read on and you will understand.

Inspired by the history of Northampton Saints, the Foundation uses the power of sport and the values of rugby to inspire, support and educate thousands of young people every year. In a world that can be so challenging for some, and have so many closed doors for our young people, they provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can feel comfortable to express themselves, ask for support and are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, and reach their potential.

The education and social inclusion programmes support young people who are perhaps disengaged from mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including difficulties with their mental and emotional health. They inspire the current generation to learn, develop new skills, increase confidence and where appropriate return to education, training or employment.

Northampton Saints Foundation is financially independent from the Club and in order to offer their comprehensive, bespoke programs, donations of time, expertise, money and activities are critical to the operation of Northampton Saints Foundation.

I have witnessed first hand the impact the Foundation has, and the more money raised, the more young people they are able to support. So please give what you can, you are actually making a real difference to the lives of children and young people.
