Story
I decided to do this challenge, for sponsorship as my friend Audreys daughter Sabrina was born with both Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. Unfortunately Sabrina passed away 3 years ago at the age of 23. Sabrina loved music, the colour purple and butterflies amongst many other things.
Any monies raised will help families and individuals affected by these conditions.
Here's a bit from the charity themselves:
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland seeks to increase public awareness and understanding of individuals with spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus and allied conditions. It aims to support all those affected to identify their needs and to empower them to make informed choices and decisions. They employ specialist staff who work across Scotland to provide a lifetime commitment of information, support and projects to all those affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalusIt costs over £1 million every year to provide extensive specialist services and with little statutory funding they rely almost solely on people like me getting involved, alongside the generosity of trusts and the goodwill of volunteers. They are incredibly grateful to all those who have supported them since 1965.That's why I have decided to take part in this challenge and I am hoping to be able to meet and exceed my target .
