Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Playing, learning and making friends is important to all children and young people. Children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs such as autism can sometimes have fewer opportunities available in their community to do this. In Salford we want to increase the social opportunities that are available. Lego can be a shared interest. It brings children and young people together, working to build something creative and forming friendships as they do. Starting a Lego Club in Salford therefore feels key to supporting the wellbeing of children and young people.

I am running the Manchester Marathon this April to raise funds for NorthCare Charity. They have been providing support and funds so we can purchase some Lego sets. Lots of Lego is needed! The more money raised, the more bricks can be bought - every little bit buys a brick! Lego Club can then be open to all children and young people who want to come and build.

Any donation will be gratefully received and help to support the beginnings of Lego Club in Salford. Thank you!
