LESS THAN 1 DAY TO GO !
For those of you who know me well, you will be aware that this trek will take me so far from my comfort zone that it will be hard for you to believe that I agreed to do it. It will be life changing for me ..... But more important is the young lives that can be changed by the money raised by this trek for charity. The funds raised go to the trust. This is a very tough Challenge. I have a very intensive 4 month training plan to be fit to compete. I am training for two to three hours 5 days a week. This evening I finished at 12.07! Some weekends involve walking up to 15 miles a day. No picnic I can assure you! On the challenge we will be walking on average 9 hours a day at very high altitude, on steep, rough terrain. Hot in the day and freezing at night. Our backpacks will not only contain our trip essentials but we will also be carrying about 4 litres of water. We are camping, with no showers .... and yep ... you guessed it “hole in the ground” loos! Ouch.... just writing this scares the life out of me! So read on to get more details. PLEASE donate what you can. Those young people really need your help & I really need your support. Nepal itinerary 26 September to 4 October Trekking from 1400m to over 4070m
