Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a kid growing up I would always watch the London Marathon, said to myself I would do it by the time I'm 40! And true to my word I have just turned 40! I wanted it to mean something and so I am running for the Paul Popham Fund.
Paul/Wally played a massive part in my formative years as a football player (not sure it done me any good!) and I am a long standing friend of the family. So I thought I could kill two birds with one stone, raise money for a great charity, while realising my childhood ambition.
Wally helped so many over the years through Football, it is great now to see his legacy live on helping people like him with Renal Failure live a better quality of life.
Rhianna Chellew has recently been diagnosed with a very serious brain tumour, friends of Jonny and Jo Chellew have set-up a fund to help both her and the family at this horrendous time.
All money raised for Rhianna will initially go towards supporting Rhiannna and her family travelling to receive treatment, and to support the parents whilst they are off work caring for Rhianna.
We hope to raise more money to allow Rhianna to be seen by a private consultant for any advanced treatments that may be available for her.
Updates will be provided shortly when we learn more from the consultancy.
