Myself and Lee have decided to do a bike ride to Sailsbury followed by a skydive from 15,000 feet. The first part will definitely challenge us physically as we are not regular bike riders and most definitely not over such distance,  (worth donating just to see how we are walking at the end) 😁 This bit begins on Wednesday 21st of August and we will hopefully be in Sailsbury on the Friday.

Next on the Saturday 24th of August we arrive at go skydive at 7:15am to prepare for our skydive and hopefully jump a few hours later, this is from 15,000 feet and I'm told the highest allowed in the uk, this again is a challenge for us but this time more mental (and mental is what im thinking we must be😜)

For anyone who is wondering why we have chosen this charity then a little background information.  My 5 year old son Colt was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on the 3rd of January 2018, this was without doubt the worst day ever.  Colt has now been having treatment for 14 months and still has around 2 years left, the first 10 months hit him hard and the side effects of the chemotherapy and other drugs were awful, sickness, vomiting, infections, weakness to the point he couldn't walk for a couple of month's. Thankfully he's now doing well and is back at school but still has a long road ahead even after treatment finishes.

We are doing this for Children With Cancer UK to raise money for research into more effective childhood cancer treatment as at present many treatments used on children were originally developed for adults and have not been changed in over 30 years!  Some of the side effects of these drugs are as bad as the cancer itself. The money that goes to children with cancer is all towards childhood cancer research and development.

Although we have set our target at £1500, it would be wonderful if we could go beyond this.
